In 2012, Tripura Theatre organized Bamapada Mukhopadhyay Tripura Theatre Festival for the first time. Three teams including Tripura Theatre participated in the festival. One being Natyabhumi, from Tripura and Aneek, from Kolkata. Tripura Theatre performed Chakravyuha, Natyabhumi performed Moneybag and Aneek presented two plays, Lal Ghashe Neel Ghora and Tapati.
