In 2016 Tripura Theatre organized its biennial theatre festival for the third time on 17-22 January

Five teams from Kolkata, Assam, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangladesh participated in this international festival. 

The festival was dedicated to the memory of a dear friend and legendary director Sudhir Kulkarni

On the first day, Tripura Theatre presented its play, Naya Andaz.
